2 Day Silversmithing Masterclass

📍Old Bar , NSW (mid north coast) 

I’m offering a 2 day 1 on 1 silversmithing masterclass workshop for anyone wanting to learn the complete art of metalsmithing. The workshop is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to start creating you very own hand crafted unique jewellery pieces from home. 

You’ll make 4-5 jewellery pieces (depending on the complexity of your pieces) 

DAY 1 

-  Plain sterling silver band (go through the basics of ring sizing, shaping, filing, polishing and soldering) 

- Sterling silver stamped/ engraved ring (go through the gist of stamping and engraving pieces to add designs or personal engravings) 

- Sterling silver ring with a stone setting (run trough measuring and creating a setting for a stone, soldering your setting to your ring band, setting the stone and polishing) 

DAY 2 

- Earring set and/or necklace pendant depending on complexity (creating, setting different shaped stones and soldering on and creating bails, embellishments, earring backs) 

Price includes ;

• 2 full days of learning

• Lunch, nibbles and drinks, tea/coffee

• All your materials including silver and stones

• An entire list of all of my stockists, as well as a take home booklet if you need to refer to it once your doing it from home with a list of all the tools you’ll need to get started up at home.

Workshop runs across 2 days ; 9:30am-3pm
