Astrid bangle

The Astrid Bangle is handcrafted from solid 925 sterling silver. An Aussie Opal collected from the heart of Lightning Ridge NSW Australia is set at its centre. Im breath taken whenever this precious stone catches the light of day. I’m lost in awe at the bright twinkles and the luminous shades of blues swirling together. 

I soldered the setting onto a semi hammered band. Letting to texture fade gradually to smooth silky silver. The band is formed to dip into the opal, creating a flattering V like effect. The band is 16cms long, is completely adjustable, one size, and can fit any wrist. Can also be adjustable to be worn like a cuff and seen in photos.
